Have you exercised today?

When I tell friends that I gave a house to the University of Chicago, they often say, “I wish I could afford to do that!” You, too, may have had the same reaction if you read my profile in a prior gift planning newsletter. With the use of a planned gift, I discovered that I could make a much larger planned gift to endow a scholarship fund that would also provide me with an immediate tax benefit and income for life.

I invite you to complete the Gift Planning Exercise to evaluate whether you might also benefit from a planned gift. This exercise will be instructive for anyone, not just for those who own an extra residence as I did. Consider it a bit of self-analysis that only you will see and that you can use to inform your own financial and philanthropic decision-making. Dr. Jeremy Sarchet

Thank you for your time and consideration. Have fun with the exercise!

Sincerely,

Jeremy A. Sarchet
